There is some important information you must know before traveling with us.
Verify if your country requires visa to enter Mexico or Belize:

- Passengers holding passports from Greece, Israel, Romania, Iran, Turkey, and Russia: as required by Belizean immigration authorities, prior authorization is needed to enter Belize. Please send a copy of your passport at least 5 business days in advance, including your Islander Ferries reservation number, to info@islanderferries.com or via WatsApp(+52 983 835 8736).
Please verify what is allowed or not by Customs in Mexico.
Traveling from Chetumal (Mexico) to San Pedro & Caye Caulker (Belize):
- Please Check-In at least 2 hours before your departure time. Show your reservation.
- Passport is required for all nationalities, including Mexican citizens.
- No refunds are applicable for cancelation, no show or being late for check in.
- Travel time to San Pedro: 1 hour and 30 minutes.
- Travel time to Caye Caulker: 3 hours and 15 minutes.
- 1 hour and 30 minutes to San Pedro.
- 1 hour in Migration & Customs in San Pedro.
- 45 minutes from San Pedro to Caye Caulker.
Traveling from Caye Caulker & San Pedro (Belize) to Chetumal (Mexico):
- Please Check-In at least 2 hours before your departure time. Show your reservation.
- Passport is required for all nationalities.
- Exit tax from Belize is US $20 (estimated). Does not apply to belizean citizens.
- Entry tax to México is MX $983(estimated). Does not apply to mexican citizens. Credit Card Only.
- Travel time to San Pedro: 45 minutes.
- Travel time to Chetumal: 3 hours and 15 minutes.
- 45 minutes to San Pedro.
- 1 hour in Migration & Customs in San Pedro.
- 1 hour and 30 minutes from San Pedro to Chetumal
- Luggage allowed with no additional cost: 1 Luggage and 1 carry-on.
